Dinosaurs

They finished the Dinosaur but I wasn’t sure where they were going with the rest of the painting… and neither were they.

They spent a lot of time evaluating and trying out different effects. How to do the babies in the pouch was especially difficult for them. They started with three but kept changing their minds.

The sky also proved to be a difficult job, partly because we do not have scaffolding to get up that high.

Things finally came together however and they settled for only one baby… but he is evidently quite mischievous because the winged King Aunt (Cambodia does not allow for a Queen to rule) appears to be scolding the mother about her son’s behavior.

They finished their creation in just a few short days. Just goes to show you what can be done with a little paint and a good idea… well it does take some talent as well.

Many thanks to Mr. Hoeut (Center) and the artist, Pesei, Saman, Nahan, and Chandara for turning an eyesore into a wall of beauty.

How cool is this! I am looking forward to see this in person next week when Fiona an myself will come and stay. Love to do some painting with you guys! Marijke
What a wonderful job they have done. Mr. Hoeut deserves so much crdit for supporting and inspiring your very talented and hard working artists. Thank you so much for sharing.
I know now having been at Wat Opot that Chandara and Psei have a blue ant in their ant collection and they think that is very cool. I wasnt sure but it’s a bit quirky. Certainly great fun and very talented
