We were very privileged again to have students, from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, spend a day with our children last week. We started with a hike up to the top of Chisol Mountain, where the view at this time of year is spectacular.
After returning to campus, the group had some planned activities for the children and although we were all tired from the climb, the children had no problem at all getting in to the games and singing.
Between games there was a time for blowing soap bubbles, which is always great fun.
And, since the rainy season has started, a sudden downpour brought us all back inside, but the group was prepared with making crafts from an assortment of supplies.
They stayed until late afternoon and when it was time to leave our kids had a hard time letting go. The group left us with a big part of themselves and lot of clothes and toiletries for the kids. We are very grateful to them for their generosity and willingness to spend time with our children.
