The rains have started and although the ponds are still low,
the green is coming back to our community.
We usually begin our days with exercise…
late comers need to run the one Kilometer sidewalk around the compound.
One of our projects this week was to get the Elephant room back in shape.
The other project for the week was the new Rocket Garden,
where the old green house stood until being blown over in a wind storm.
With most of the children out of school,
there is always a good work force available.
The garden will feature a statue of the child pictured on the book…
who just happens to be the one holding the picture.
We had to find a new model however because he has grown to tall.
It took several tries to bend the wire just right to fit the guitar.
But by the end of the day it was beginning to take shape.
Our days usually end with sports activities.
Jump rope for the smaller ones and soccer for the big boys.
Not a lot accomplished but sufficient for the day.
Thanks for stopping in… we will keep you posted on the progress.
