Rub-A-Dub-Dub three men in a tub,

Well actually there are four,

But I doubt that any have ever heard,

That Nursery Rhyme before.

It really doesn’t matter,

For it is a fact you see,

That where there’s boys and water,

A tub will come to be.

Rub-A-Dub-Dub four boys in a tub,

What memories they do bring,

Of marshlands filled with water,

And of Michigan in the Spring.

Heavy rains have broken down the new dikes that were built when the fence went up. All of the ponds have overflowed and much of the lower ground is under water. No severe damage was done and nothing we can do about it, except make repairs when the water subsides. The kids, in the meantime, are making the best of things.
